Vertical ladder without welding, to be fixed to the wall with or without safety cage completely screwed like all accessories.

Self System is the new SVELT project that allows the operator to assemble all the accessories and the cage directly on site, saving considerably on transport costs.

All components, accessories and the cage are not welded and can be assembled on site with the new Quick Tightening system designed by Svelt.

This gives the ladder, all accessories and the cage a super-compact packing volume that makes it economical to transport, while being quick to assemble on site.

IDEAL FOR RETAILERS

Self System is also a system of pre-composed standard modules that allows Authorized Dealers to keep predefined packs of a few modules in stock capable of satisfying numerous configurations required by customers (ask your local agent).

FAST ASSEMBLY TIMES

The ladder shown in these images is 10.75 m high, and includes a section splitting module and a roof landing module.

Both modules, the cage and all the accessories, were supplied disassembled (see image super-compact packaging on a single pallet).

The ladder was assembled on the ground and then fixed to the wall in just 4 hours by 2 operators who assembled it for the first time.

We recommend the use of 2 portable aluminum tripods and electric screwdrivers:

Assembly of a 270 cm log by a single operator approx. 10 minutes
Assembly of a 380 cm log by approx. 2 operators. 8 minutes
Assembling the climbing platform by a single operator approx. 8 minutes
Assembly of the climbing platform by 2 operators approx. 5 minutes

The ladder can be requested already assembled.

In this case, transport will be more cumbersome but assembly time on site will decrease.

TECHNICAL FEATURES

•   Knurled rungs 27x27 mm edged to the vertical uprights 84x27 mm

•   Cage start from 1900 mm to 2500 mm from the ground variable according to the type of installation

      (N.B.: the last 1100 mm are without pegs to allow the operator to exit).

•    The few welds present are certified TIG (supports/platforms/gates)

REGULATIONS

The ladder can be produced and used according to the regulations required by the customer.

Each compliance with the chosen regulation has been tested and certified.

FALL ARREST LIFELINE APPLICATION

A calculation report signed by registered engineers certifies that the 2 top rungs complete with threaded rods of the SVELT fixed ladders are compliant for the application of the fall arrest lifeline system.

NON-SLIP COVERS FOR THE PEGS

The rungs of the SELF SYSTEM ladders are non-slip knurled for standard use.

However, ladders can be quite slippery, especially if used in particular environments where the rungs or shoes are in contact with water, grease, oil or other slippery organic material. It is the task of the R.S.P.P. to assess the risks of slipping and decide what countermeasure to adopt to avoid accidents.

In these cases it is extremely important to cover the rungs with our non-slip covers made of fiberglass with built-in aluminum oxide grit.

This makes them almost indestructible and very slip-resistant.

Svelt on request will provide the ladder already with the rungs covered.

It is also possible to order the stair covers already in the customer's possession.
