Key technical note for fixing:

"The fully assembled system is not watertight.

Therefore, to prevent the entry and stagnation of moisture inside the profiles, installation must be carried out exclusively by mechanical bolting or dowel on suitable supports.

It is strictly forbidden to lay by direct drowning or immersion in castings of cementitious material, mortars or the like."

It only takes a few minutes to obtain a comfortable, light and rust-resistant parapet.
Fixing on the roof is excluded and by the customer. (assembly by SVELT on request).
Each module is equipped with joints on request to create continuity along the entire roof.
The parapet can also be equipped with curves.

Class A modular balustrade

Class A defines the scope of the roofing system with a maximum slope of the walking surface of up to 10° (equivalent to a slope of 17.6%).

Aluminium edge protection system consisting of columns, rails and toe clips: the components are extremely light and easy to handle.

The standard posts must be installed perpendicular to the roof and then joined to form a custom-made system as requested by the customer.

With a quick assembly it is possible to obtain a comfortable, light and rust-resistant parapet.

Aesthetically pleasing and statically resistant and rigid.
Parapet systems must guarantee only resistance to static loads, the basic requirements are:

support a person leaning on the guard and provide support when the person walks on his side
arrest a person who walks or falls towards the guard.

The parapet system can be configured and supplied without the integrated toe strip, provided that this fall arrest function is already performed by a pre-existing fixed structure on the installation surface (for example, a solid wall or curb with a minimum height of not less than 150 mm).

Optional painting

The railings are completely made of aluminum and for this reason it is not necessary to paint them.

Aluminium is practically eternal and resistant to atmospheric agents unlike iron (even hot-dip galvanised) which needs maintenance over time.

For aesthetic reasons, however, we can paint the railings in the RAL colors requested by customers.

Manuals: Each product comes with an assembly, use and maintenance manual.
Sign: The system is equipped (as standard equipment or on specific request) with an information and safety sign, which the customer is required to place near the access to the roof.

Svelt Parapets comply with the ISO 9000 welding standard according to ENISO9606/2: welders and welding machinery are periodically examined by a recognized laboratory, which issues a license to pass the tests of functionality, skill and precision required by the legislation.

All reclining models are perfect for roofs on which photovoltaic systems are mounted as it always remains closed avoiding shading.
The parapet is opened by the operator only before maintenance operations and then closed again.
